aren’t we just a little strict? who came up w/ the scoring?? does this mean the questions are easy?
i don’t think that the questions are easy (they are writty by 3 usamo qualifiers)…i think the scores are “supposed” to be negative … but good luck to all those who will attend…
it must be a fun contest, given that they are having a “surprise” part.
no, we’re not strict, the scoring is purely for amusement purposes. the questions are not that easy, and the individual/team tests were written solely by me.

Expected winning individual score is probably around 0 (we’ll see what Adam can do – it may be surprisingly different). I can’t say what the average might be.
Ahh … make sure to become curious at our special event. AND GET YOUR SCHOOLS TO COME! It’s not even that expensive, and we’re sure you’ll have a great time.
